Have you had any coughs, colds or viral infections recently? CRP is only very marginally raised I wouldn’t worry about it.

I've had a cold about 10 days ago. Could that be it? Thanks for your answer.

Suzanam,

CRP is a marker for body inflammation (acute phase reactant).

Heavier people may have higher CRP levels as abdominal fat provides fertile ground for over-production of pro-inflammatory cytokines that cause CRP to increase and if weight gain is caused by too low thyroid hormone levels (or medicated thyroid hormone replacement not working properly), then addressing this first may eventually rectify the elevated CRP.

Your Vit D levels are too low & optimal Vit D levels are known to reduce inflammation.

Thank you! I am going to see my endo on Friday. And I'll start taking vit D.

Your ferritin looks too low. Does that say 34.7?

Ferritin really needs to be above 70. If you like liver, eating once a week should help improve levels. Or you can get ferrous fumerate supplements. You must retest regularly if supplementing iron.

Vitamin D needs to be nearer 100nmol. Better You vitamin D mouth spray is good as avoids poor gut function.

Your FT3 is on low side. Getting vitamins Better may help

Suggest retesting in 2-3 months when vitamins are better.

It does say 34. So vit D, iron for now. I retest about 2-3 months all the time. Thank you!
