On reviewing my latest test results my GP has stopped my T4. He says my TSH is too low.
I was on 50 mcg T4 and 20 mcg T3.
TSH 0.1. mu/L. (0.40-4.00)
FT4. 9 pmol/L. (10-20)
FT3. 6.5 pmol/L. (2.8-6.8)
Any comments on this please.

Your results look as expected for someone on T3. If you are now not taking the 50mcg levo you might need to raise T3 by 1/4-1/2 of a tablet. How do you feel?
I only saw the GP today so I haven't actually started the T3 only regime. I was on T4/T3 when the test were done. I feel ok apart from feeling very tired in the afternoon.
Nope, tried but the logic escapes me 🤨 He is stopping your levo because he is not happy with your tsh, totally ignoring your below range ft4 🙃 Your results are kinda to be expected when on t3 anyway
Doesn't know much about thyroid, does he. Your TSH is low because you don't need it anymore. But, he probably doesn't know what TSH does, anyway. Tell him that all TSH does is stimulate the thyroid to make more hormone (yours can't, anyway) and stimulate conversion. As you are on a decent dose of T3, you don't need either of those functions, so the pituitary has stopped making TSH. Simples.
Thanks for all your comments. As I don't have a thyroid anymore does it matter if my FT4 level is low ?
