Have switched to Armour during the shortage of Nature Throid and now want to switch back to NT for my next prescription. I’ve just had an email saying my Pharmacy has the 1gr in stock for £67 for 100. I had been paying £40... (this Pharmacy is on the Thyroid uk site)
My understanding was that RLC had pledged to keep prices the same, so am a little disappointed to find that there is a 59% price increase from this Pharmacy...
I take 4gr per day which is now going to get very expensive!
Has anyone else had this issue?
Many thanks

RLC may have kept their prices the same - but the combination of other circumstances (distributor, pound:dollar value, pharmacy mark-up) could be what has made the difference.
Hopefully larger dose tablets will be available soon.
You can mention pharmacies which are legitimate and supply within the UK.
Have all the well-known ones changed their prices?
Thanks Helvella, i’ve been using Springfield for the last few years to source T3 initially and for the last 12 months or so for NDT.
I’m aware of the fluctuating exchange rate though just think that this price hike is more down to greed by either the importer or Pharmacy, but most likely both!
Well if you got an email from Springfield you are doing way better than a lot of us. I stopped using them last year as their phone manner went from only just acceptable to downright rude and aggressive.
Online prices without script are almost the same. They haven't changed after the shortage. 1 grain strength is what's currently available - 90 pills. Only 3 x 90 pills can be bought per client.
Pharmacies over here use the same international RLC supplier and sell them at a higher price.
Hi I've just been searching for this topic on price increases so am replying but that's probably not right but can you help?. I've been getting ndt from an online pharmacy as I don't have a prescription. The price was doubled last year and I've just looked and it is now 4 times the price eg 110 pounds for 30 mg of armour. I just can't afford this . Do you know of other pharmacys which don't require a prescription.
Unfortunately, Armour's prices have indeed doubled in the past two years and recently they have also increased a bit, too. There are other brands worth a try. Thailand's NDT are at more affordable prices. I have sent you a couple of links.
