2 years ago after 10 years of wondering what was wrong I finally (after paying $9,000) to a naturopath who did countless tests, prescribed numerous vitamins, finally diagnosed me hypothyroid and prescribed nature throid.
For 1 full year my health and body were working better than they ever had. I finally felt at home in my body.
Then I had to change to a GP because the out of pocket was killing me. Needless to say she refuses to prescribe nature throid to me. All my symptoms came rushing back, hair falling out, constantly tired, 30lbs in 2 yrs, brain fog, lack of energy.
I’m at my wits end.
I need a reputable online pharmacy that I can
purchase this “wonder drug for me”. I’m sick of fighting to get Dr’s to listen to me about my body.
I need to take my health back.
Thank you so much for any guidance.
My free T3 lab number came in at 2.1 my optimum level is 3.5. (that year with the natural path we found my body’s optimum level). My TSH levels are always in the lab “normal” ranges.

Good luck getting any Nature-throid. There is some kind of shortage supposedly due to an upgrade in manufacturing facilities and a sudden surge of orders, according to RLC. (sounds kind of wonky, I must say) I have been unable to get any in the US with a prescription. I've had to switch to Armour, at least temporarily.
Are you in the US? I would be flying back to that naturopath post haste regardless of cost in order to not have to stop my medication. In fact, your primary doc (PCP) can probably prescribe for you, especially since you had found your 'sweet spot' dosage. (Take your bottle with you.)
Most mainstream pcps don't necessarily believe in natural supplements anyway so.. a little respectful grousing about the expense of supplements etc. might go a long way to persuading your regular doctor to do the prescribing for you. Be sure to share how effective NDT has been for you. He/she may want to run labs again but if you can persuade them, you will have a dependable source of prescriptions and labs.
Thank you for your suggestions. I’ve been begging my GP to listen to me, my body and symptoms for almost 2 years now.
I have two appts set one for a naturopath ($400.00) just for the 1st checkup and another for an Endo (best in my area) that couldn’t fit me in until March.
There are GP’s with ego issues that won’t listen to patients even if their hair was in fire. 🤣
I so agree with your comment about some docs being egotistical and we peons can't question them. wow .... $ 400.00. That is very pricey. I belong to a USA, yahoo 'NaturalThyroidHormones' group set up by Janie... the owner of the STTM (stop the thyroid madness) website. They maintain a list of sympathetic docs who prescribe NDT. They also suggest calling your local pharmacies and seeing if they will share with you the names of docs who prescribe NDT to other patients. That might be something to check out. Do you have insurance? Maybe one of them will be in your insurance network?
