You haven't given any information of your thyroid journey on your Profile, i.e. when diagnosed - with what - and prescription.

Members are more inclined to share sources with new members who include some background about their illness such as how long they’ve been diagnosed, recent thyroid results and ranges, and current thyroid medication.

When I joined last yr I gave details of my husbands four yr struggle to get rid of his chronic daily headaches, all meds you can think of, finally Botox, no result. He has about 30 of the symptoms of hypothyroidism, but the doc won't listen, just says his results are within range and we should work on getting his BP down. Blood tests show :

TSH level(XaELV) 1.63 mu/L-[0.2- 5.0]

fT4level (XaERr) 15.7 pmol/L [12.0- 22.0]

These test 6 Oct 2017, ab GP says t3 testing isn't done now.......

I showed him tests done (different doc) 17 Jul 2017 which included

t3 level (4424.) 1.4 mmol/L [1.3-3.1]

TSH level (XaELV) 0.920mu/L [0.2-5.0]

T4 level (XaERr) 17.7 pmol/L [12.0-22.0]

The final letter from the consultant he's been seeing re the headaches said that he will just have to learn to cope with the daily headaches, which are no longer migraines, but ndph, new persistent daily headaches. My husbands body temp is 35.3 degrees, he is always cold,can barely stand for dizziness, has very swollen ankles/feet and sleeps a great deal. Any help gratefully received.
