Swollen neck

I had a bump on my neck and swollen under my chin about a year ago and been for scan and got a all clear and was told it was because I was over weight so have lost 8 kg I have to loss a bit more to get to my right weight but the last two weeks under my chin is all swollen again and sometimes feels sore and my face fells numb I don't really won't to go back to the doctors just to be told it's nothing to worry about .

Wow, 8kg weight loss is very impressive.

You need to go back to your doctor. The swelling and numbness may not be due to being overweight after losing 8kg.

Go back to your GP and say, since your suggestion about my swollen neck and despite losing 8 kg I want the swelling under my chin investigated and I have sensations of my face also becoming numb.

I have taken advice and I would like a Full Thyroid Function Test TSH, T4, T3 and Free T4 and Free T3 in particular which would show if I was a poor converter of T4 into T3.I have been told that this is the only Active Thyroid Hormone. I also want a B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate as numbness can be a clinical symptom of B12 deficiency.
