I was on 175/150 levo alternate days but been n seen endo n we'v established iv been over medicated on t4. But iv also conversion problems. I just been gradually gowing downhill to point iv had to take time off last 2/3 wks. Just so fatigued after simplist tasks. My vit D levels were extremely low n iv been taking 20,000ui. Also iron, zinc, vit a and vit k. N Magnesium before bed. Been doing vits for 8wks Iv just started 5mcg twice daily of t3. Just curious as to 1-how long it will take to feel any effect? 2- any recomendations as to how much to reduce my levo by? Any feedback much apreciated x

Don't reduce your Levo yet. If you read my reply on the post about it took me about 5 months to turn mine around but been stable ever since. Once that is improving the 'high' T4 reading will fall as it will be converted into T3 so if anything you may have to increase but until conversion is happening as it should then you can't tell.
Thanks for your reply! But if i cant convert , then surely thats why my rt3 is high? Why my t4 went to 28 i ended up blue lighted to hosp wi my heart. Felt like i was gonna die! I dnt want to go back there!
I'm saying that after your conversion problem is corrected then your other readings will change. At the moment your basic thyroid results are showing where your problem is but your FT3 is in range. You can only expect nasty problems if your FT3 is very high. Once the convention is improving the FT4 with drop as your body wil be converting more of it to T3 so your FT3 results will. E better as well so no need to stop T4. It isn't dangerous to have a a just over range FT4 as long as FT3 isn't over range as well so basically improving conversion is just moving the results into a more normal situation. As I said it took about 5 months for me to change mine so any movement is extremely slow andxuou won't noice a change from day to day at all but it's over a long period of time that it slowly improves.
So start addressing the low vitamins as soon as you get the results, check on SeasideSusie's posts on the dosing and you will be fine.
Have you had iron, B12 and Folate tested? All these need to be at an 'optimum' level to help conversion. If you were low in Vit D its highly likely you're low in the rest.
Selenium may help with conversion too. 200mcg daily or 2 -4 Brazil nuts (but only if grown in selenium rich soil)
Thanks silver fairy. Yes all vits n iron were all low even tho Gp didnt think so but iv been on apropriate doses for 2mnths now i was goin to go another mnth at least before retesting them. I had high TPO so iv def hashis. Also following keto GF diet as best i can. Also cut out potatoes. Im just concerned at high rt3. Should i be?
