Blood test results on 2.25 grains NDT

Hello,

I’m on 2.25 grains. Feeling well in myself at the moment - no more cat naps which was my main symptom and I feel energy levels are back.

Shall I increase to 2.5 grains now - or 2.75. I’m unsure - had very high free T3 a couple of months ago but have come right down since?

When taking NDT, the recommendation is that you increase by 1/4 tablet every two weeks till you are symptom-free. Taking Pulse/Temp several times a day. If either go too high, drop to previous dose.

Your FT4 and FT3 are low and the aim is towards the upper part of the range.

Your high TPO antibodies state you have an Autoimmune Thyroid Disease called Hashimoto's and you can help reduce these (which attack your thyroid gland until you are hypothyroid) by going gluten-free.

Yeah unfortunately the Dr that I get the hormones doesn’t operate like that. But seems to recommend more of an increaseso at least he is that way inclined. I’ll up to 2.5 grains today and do as you suggested.

I would buy alone , but having difficulties buying NatureThroid right now so sticking with him as he has a supply!
