Tsh result 9.9

I'm 49 sri lankan. my tsh result is 9.9. I'm having severe pain in right shoulder and right arm. is this dangerous? plz reply

K_ru Nobody can diagnose what the problem is with your shoulder and arm, you need to see your doctor. But a TSH of 9.9 is over range and confirms Hypothyroidism. You need to be prescribed Levothyroxine.

Thanks I was thinking that my pain is due to this thyroid problem ????? Isn't it possible???

I don't know if the pain is connected to your thyroid. You should go and see your doctor, there are other reasons for shoulder and arm pain.

I tried physiotherapy,chiropath,

acupuncture but in the end an injection was the only answer.

Levothyroxine can also cause such angina type pain for which the treatment is beta blockers.
