TSH 4.24 range 0.45-4.50

Free T4 1.26 range 0.82-1.77

Free T3 2.3 range 2.0-4.4

This test was with 62.5 mcg Synthroid and 7.5 mcg Liothyronine.

Dr. Increased Synthroid to 75 mcg. I seem to be anxious since increase two weeks ago. My blood pressure and sugar have also slightly increased since medication increase. Why would this happen when I'm obviously under medicated?

Btw, I am on B complex, omega 3, magnesium, 10,000 iu D3, ashwaganha, 500 C, and a high probiotic. All of these are being taken per low test results and Dr. recommended.

I'm beginning to think I need anxiety medication too!!??

Hi - anxiety is a hypo symptom and you are very under-medicated. However if this has only started since a dose increase then the likely culprit is low nutrients. Have you had any recent tests of vit d, vit b12, folate and ferritin?

As you have a very obvious conversion problem, I don't think your doctor should have increase the synthroid, he should have increased the T3. If he just keeps increasing the T4, it is going to go over-range, without raising the T3 very much, and that will cause problems in its own right.

Why are you just taking a B complex and not B12? If your B12 is very low, there won't be enough in a B complex to raise your level. Do you have a result for the B12? How about the vit D? Do you have a number for that? Doctors are notorious for not prescribing/advising high enough doses of nutrients to help. I think it would be a good idea if you posted your results for nutrients, just in case. Folate? Ferritin? Are you taking vit K2 - MK7 with your vit D3? Why the ashwagandha?

I don't think you will need anxiety medication if all the rest is correctly treated. :)

I think greygoose has said everything. The Ft3 is too low but I think before increasing that you need to have the vit d, b12 and ferritin checked. If these are in an optimal range then proceed with raising t3 dosage. Your vit D dosage is very high so testing that seems mandatory anyway
