Hi Everyone
I have an appointment with a Chronic Fatigue specialist next week after suffering with Hashimotos then Pernacious Anemia symptoms for ten years.
Hashis was being treated by Dr S then had to source a private local gp who was happy to give me levo based on history and symptoms.
8 years later I suspected pernacious anemia, which I self injected every other day until my symptoms were eliviated. The combination was a miracle, was thinking of going back to work.
Over the past few months I havnt been able to fund my health privately nor will my gp prescribe either of the above. Am now unable to get off the sofa, look after my kids, am in a terrible state.
Im trying to build a case to present to the chronic fatigue specialist, explaining my history, journey, findings etc. does anyone know where I can find any information on how the nhs treat people with what they believe to be chronic fatigue .
Is there any information out there, any other case studies/evidence etc I can present to help me back up what medication worked for me so I can persuade the chronic fatigue specialist to give to me.
I have always had what was considered 'normal' blood tests with every symptom under the sun. My nhs gp refused to do any more thyroid testing at the beginning of the year.
I am no longer taking anything, as the nhs gp will not prescribe for me.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks
C
