Hi i had text for thyroid. It came back underactive.then had a text couple months later came back normal. Now just had another text came back underactive. But having to wait a month and do another text. So it second time showed underactive.i worried it come back ok again.i have fibo is well

Do you have the actual results with ranges ? What was tested ? Normal is an opinion and not a result 😊

Did they test the T3 ? - Fibro can be linked to Low T3 - VitD - B12 - Adrenals.

Hi i dont no what texts were just that its underactive .but this is second time. I have bitamin d off doctor as mine low at moment .are we ment to be on vitamin d all the time.

Test results are legally yours so always obtain copies so you know what has been tested and what has been missed. It makes your posts easier to understand if we have more information.

If the GP has given you VitD it is possibly only 800 iu's which is rarely enough. What was your result when tested ?

Also ask for copies of your thyroid tests and the results with ranges.

So that is a loading dose so it must have been low. You must obtain the results from your surgery so you can monitor your progress. You will then need to be on a maintenance dose and get tested at the end of winter 😊

Yes she said i will go on to a 1000 everyday after so long.

Maybe 2500 - 5000 would be better. They are cheap to buy on-line. You also need to take VitK2 MK7 to ensure increased calcium goes to your bones and teeth. Also Magnesium is important...

There are two forms of Vit K2

1) K2-MK7

2) K2-MK4

K2-MK7 is the form recommended.
