Body Temp to determine if medication is helping

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone uses first waking body temp and other times of day body temps to track response to medication (t4 or t3)? Is this a good indicator for how it is working and how your metabolism is functioning?

Or is the 3:00-4:00 temp test the best test, because that is when your temp is the highest?
