Well cut out, dairy, soy, gluten, eggs and night shades as they can inflame your gut. The supplements that I'm currently taking that have helped out a lot are ashawanda root, selenium( make sure it's yeast free) an adrenal support, zink, iron, a heart support, vitamin d, and probiotics.

Oh lol ok well meats and sea food contain iron and magnesium and omega fatty acids. Beets contain a plethora of beneficial nutrients for the thyroid, google it. It's to many to list. Brazil nuts contain selenium but don't eat more than two because it can affect you negatively. Kombucha has probiotic properties. Well there's a start many more members should add on

Brazil nuts only contain selenium if they're grown in selenium rich soil, otherwise there is no selenium present. If the packaging says "Grown in selenium rich soil" there will be some, but unless you know where exactly they're grown, there are big differences in the amount in the nuts.

Hi Karina, you know that is a very complicated question because everyone has different chemistry it's hard to be very get specific and, furthermore, your diet may go through changes. Really fruits and vegetables as organic as you can find will have the most nutrition.

Do you have insulin resistance, do you have estrogen dominance? Google each of those since that may change what you eat as well. Many times it's the digestion problem that keeps you from gaining nutrition from your food. For instance without enough acid in your stomach you will not break down minerals especially and we need 60 different minerals. We really need good fats like coconut oil and butter but olive oil when heated has much more estrogen so that may not be good. I've discovered avocado oil and it's good hot or cold. Of course avocados are great as well. Try to avoid all other vegetable oils. Depending where you live, I know in the U.S. we use antibiotics and hormones on animals unless you specifically look for the others. But meat has lots of amino acids and fat so can be nourishing as long as it gets digested. You probably need help with that and I like having vinegar, HCL or Betaine before eating a meal. I haven't even mentioned GMOs which are hidden everywhere.

If you can handle nuts and seeds they usually have good oils. You can look up the nutritional count for any food you like but eat whole foods because sometimes the part we don't eat has the most nutrition.

Yes Heloise thanks !!!

Its not what we eat - but what we can absorb 😊 Hypos absorb nutrients poorly - especially with Hashimotos.

What are you deficient in ?

Depending what you are short of and how low you may not be able to get good levels from food. I can remember a few years ago some one posted they would have to eat 104 tins of tuna a day to redress a balance!

Get your Vit D3, B12, folate and ferritin tested as these are the four that help conversion problems and see how you are.

I will try that ..thanks

Liver, brazil nuts, kefir, sunlight (OK not a food!), sunflower and pumpkin seeds, natto, hard cheese, egg yolks, grass-fed butter. Cider vinegar for digestion (also kefir).
