NDT and blood tes results

Hi I have listed my results as I have taken high blood pressure and wondered if this is due to the fact that my GP said my T3 was too high!!

T4 16.7 range 9 - 24

T3 8.9 range 0.3 - 6

TSH 0.1 range 3.5 - 6-5

I was taking 2 grain a day but have now lowered my dose to 1.5 grain

Any advice would be appreciated

The fact that NDT contains T4 and T3 it will be higher than the ranges the GP uses as they are for T4 only i.e. T4 converts to T3.

See how your blood pressure goes with your reduction as you don't want to have high blood pressure if at all possible.

Not the fact that he said it, but the fact that it is too high. :)

So I'm 5 grain should bring it down substantially

No. Stay on 1.5 for six weeks, and then retest.

Do you have high antibodies?
