Dandruff and 2-5 little pieces of hair when swiping my hair back and forth

I swipe my hair in directions and notice that 2 to 5 hairs fallen, just little pieces. Is this normal? I also have dandruff

I had chronic dandruff from 3 after having very serious pneumonia. My mother always thought it was caused by the drugs I was given. However, once treated for autoimmune hypothyrodism in my 50's the dandruff cleared up. My mother was also hypothyroid I sometimes wonder if I have had it a lot longer than I realised as I developed osteoarthritis by the time I was 23 which is another precursor to it, but don't know if that could be possible. I would think the dandruff is related to hypothyrodism as dry skin is another one and lots of people get hair falling out mine went a lot thinner but it was very very thick originally so doctors thought was as a head case when I mentioned it. Perhaps you are undermedicated?

Doctors don't give a damn about hair loss even though hair loss and nail problems are frequently the precursors to showing that a patient has a more serious problem. The hair and nails are body organs that aren't essential for survival so are effected first if you are under medicated, have a nutrient deficiency, have a bad reaction to a drug, etc.
