I have found that every time I wake up at 3 or 4 am that if I take my Levo it knocks me out in a few minutes and I'm able to sleep for a few more hours. I would take it before I go to bed but I usually always have to eat something. Does anyone like taking it at night and does it make you sleep better. That would be a plus!

Taking Levo at night or in the wee hours of the morning because you can't sleep anyway
Hi I have found it does the same for me. No idea why it seems to work but am just happy it does!
Did an experiment and took Levo before I went to bed last night and sure enough slept right through. My t3levels are on the low side and I suspect that there might be a higher conversion of T4 to T3 if I take at night. Always the detective. LoL
I take mine at around 1 a.m. but can't say I've noticed any increase in sleepiness!
I take mine in the early hours and manage to go back to sleep but I've not noticed it making me sleepy i wish it did then I'd take it at night x
There's no reason you cannot take it in the middle of the night. Your stomach will certainly be empty and if it helps with sleep that's good. You have to take it with one glass of water.
I take my T4 in the morning, but I take half of my T3 before going to bed. The T3 certainly helps me to sleep.
(This, of course demonstrates that the GP who told me that "T3 is just a stimulant" has no idea!!!!!)
Same here. Mostly I wake up around 4-5 a.m. for the bathroom and take my levo then. It seems to make me sleepy but only if I am not stressed because it does not seem to work so well for 'tired but wired'.
I do this exact same thing every morning between four and five I wake up to go to the bathroom I take my Levo and half my T3 and it knocks me right out. When I take my T3 again in the afternoon it makes me sleepy for about an hour. It's great because then when I'm up by 630 or 7 AM I'm OK to have my tea and then I just take my supplements around 930 or 10 AM.
