Miracle supplement?

On another forum, someone has recommended Myoinositol to improve thyroid function, weight loss, libido etc. Anyone ever heard of it/used it?

Was starting to read up about it a few days ago - and ended up feeling quite confused.

Thanks helvella - I read that too and was also a bit unclear, hence asking whether anyone had actually used it! I'll be really interested to find out!

To those interested, I have been taking it for almost 4 weeks now and I must admit I have noticed that my appetite seems more under control and I have shifted some of the stubborn pounds - about 5. It may all be in my mind but I can take that if it works! I shall continue. Meanwhile I have found cheaper sources than Amazon for next time!
