My (paediatric nurse) friend is in Cyprus and the pharmacies she checked advised there is no stock in the whole of Cyprus 😩
On a brighter note someone posted that it IS available O.T.C. in Paris a few days ago. Is it me or is this chopping and changing of OTC countries policies getting a bit arduous?
I think alot of it is down to us brits buying it all up!. Awareness of t3 has grown rapidly in last few years thanks to social media and even being talked about on tv in couple programmes early this year . I spoke to a Greek pharmacist last month on holiday and she told me so many English people are asking for it. She had trouble sourcing it herself. I don't think Greek manufacturers can keep up with the increased demand. The pharmacist thought they would probably sort this eventually accompanied by a big price hike as she said she'd seen this happen in the past with other drugs. She thought they might increase it to 9 /10 euros a packet so still far cheaper than uk. It's a crazy situation 😕

The situation is ridiculous. I just wish UP would advise and update. I don't mind as my health is priceless and I'm in a financial position to pay a slight rise. But the not knowing has me worried and I sourced a years worth. It would have be 30 months but it felt unfair on others as my supplier only had 100 or so boxes last week. Heck, even buying 12 was probably selfish 😒
Yes and I really do appreciate yr position but multiply what yr doing times all the other people doing it and you begin to understand the supply problems. As I said hopefully the Greeks can up there production levels sooner rather than later. X
I have bought T3 here in France OTC every month since April this year. They make their own brand.

I think yours was the post I was talking about! Where/ town in France was this please? I've just bought a year's supply but wanted to stock up as mine have 2020 expiration date and I'm worried.
I live in the center of France but I have asked for the Cynomel in various towns locally and they all offer to order it without a prescription.
I am sometimes asked if I have a prescription but I just say no and they order it anyway I pay for it and pick it up the following day.
Greygoose it right, however, on the box it does state prescription only.
My local pharmacy now keep a very small stock of it now but only maybe one box.
What is the French brand pls? That is worrying news re Cyprus.
T3 is prescription only in France. It says so on the box.

Yes, I know she does. But, I don't know how she does it. It certainly isn't a national policy that T3 is OTC - we're actually damn lucky that it isn't illegal! Like NDT and HGH. We can't even get vit D3 without a prescription. Other people have tried buying T3 here, without a prescription, and failed. So, I just don't know.
