can steroids make you hyper if your taking levo for hypothyroidism ?

Hi

My last blood test which was taken on the 28th June 2017 my TSH WAS 4.1 (0.3-4.5) AND T4 was 14 (i think the range on that is 22 from memory as it hasn't been written) i was on 75mcg i took my dose after my test and had fasted.

I started 100 mcg on the 5th july 2017 i always feel bad for a few weeks after an increase and things had just started to settle, I had caught a cold it landed on my chest as i suffer with asthma i started on steroids on Monday ,I hate taking steroids as usually they make me feel hyperactive and happy (good bit) then i go the complete opposite.

This time I've got blurred vision, exhausted, fuzzy head, vertigo if i move to quickly ,and general brain fog i can't listen to someone talking to me its an overload of information and reading i just can't do and I've lost 6lb in weight i will say in a week even though i think its only since I've started taking the steroids and i feel hot (no temperature) and a headache

Just haven't been able to drive anywhere today i woke at 7.00am took my levo had some water and fell back to sleep till 11.30

could the steroids make you hyper if your taking levo for hypothyroidism ?

A couple of members have said that TSH became suppressed after steroid injections although they didn't say they felt overmedicated.

Perhaps you could skip Levothyroxine for a couple of days and reduce to 75mcg and see whether symptoms improve. When you finish the course of steroids resume taking 100mcg.

Thank you clutter I will give that a try I had thought about reducing to 75 mcg and see how i go, i became like this last September the Dr removed all levo and i've had to start from scratch so I'm reluctant to contact them.
