Has anyone tried Thyro Gold?

Hi I am hoping someone can help. I was going to order Thyro Gold but I was shocked it was $40 l for delivery and you've to sign a form saying you won't stop payment if it doesn't arrive. Has anyone tried it or had any issues with delivery? I'd really appreciate any guidance xx

No, but I know people who have tried it. It's expensive, but so are Armour and Erfa, at least in Belgium. One person I know felt great on it, the other not so much...she ended up going back on Armour. For some reason, she seems to feel better on porcine NDT. I think the T3:T4 ratios are slightly different in bovine thyroid compared to porcine, which may explain it.

I have not heard about any problems receiving it, as it's sold as a supplement so does not require a doctor's prescription. I doubt customs in any European country would confiscate it. But delivery from the US can take weeks, sometimes up to a month.

I guess the form you have to sign is a disclaimer, meaning the supplier won't be held responsible in case anything happens. Understandable, as they ship worldwide, but of course that means that the customers runs a theoretical risk of paying for nothing...however, I doubt it happens very often that a package is lost or confiscated. I have never had any problems with shipments from North America, only from Asian countries.

Thank you so much for your reply. I was particularly keen to try it because I have fibromyalgia and I know that was Dr Lowes speciality. As you say it's expensive but worth it if it helps xx

I'm in the US and have been taking Thyro-Gold since 2012. I was taking too much at first and had terrible symptoms but now take 1 a day and I feel fine. I just decided to try Thiroyd because of the cost, ordered yesterday. T-Gold is now about $64.00(US) for 90 caps (300mg). If it weren't so expensive, I would continue to take it.

Thank you for your reply. It's the cost that's putting me off a bit but I feel so terrible that I think it might be worth it. It's the postage to the UK that worries me most

Hi just wanted to ask that how u getti g on with thyro gold do u feel better has ur symptoms improved after taking it and what dosage u r taking and how many a day if u don't mind pls let me know bcs I'm not getting anywhere with doctors depute having goitre and nodule plus graves disease but not on any thyroid medication at the moment bcs my blood shows normal thanks

I ordered some from them for the first time just last Saturday. It's not here yet but maybe a one week ship time is too short to assess whether it'll make it here or not just yet I'm in France (where NDT is illegal - however I'm hoping that it'll make its way to me regardless... depending on what they've written is actually in the package) but the ship times should be roughly similar. I can let you know when/if it arrives if you like.

Just wanted to follow up in case anyone was wondering - the Thyro Gold arrived today!

I ordered it on the 15th (a Saturday), it shipped on the 17th (Monday), and arrived in France (where NDT is illegal - lucky me...) on the 27th. They wrote "nutritional supplement" in the package description. Voilà - hope this helps anyone interested
