Just testing a TSH and FT4 is not enough
Your TSH is pretty high, ideally should be near one
Your FT4 is ok but slightly higher is better
You definitely need FT3 and thyroid antibodies testing, plus vitamins listed below. These can be low in own right, and affect thyroid, or they can be low because Thyroid is playing up
As you can't get full thyroid and vitamin testing from GP like hundreds of us on here you will need full private testing

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw or
Both often have money off offers- normally £99, reduced to £79!
This test (same from both companies) checks
TSH.
FT4
FT3
TT4
TPO and TG antibodies
Vitamin D
Folate
Ferritin
B12
All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after. This gives highest TSH and most consistent results
Put a new post up when you get results including ranges
I have pernicious anemia so have b12 injections, and I know my vit D is slightly low. Wondered if my Arterial Fibrillation would stop them giving me medication
So how low is vitamin D and do you supplement?
What about taking vitamin B complex to keep the B's in balance and folate up.
You definitely need thyroid antibodies tested too
