Emerald224,

Yes, all of them would.

B12 and folate are deficient. See signs of deficiency in b12deficiency.info/signs-an... Ideally your GP will check intrinsic factor antibodies to see whether pernicious anaemia is causing B12 deficiency. Go to healthunlocked.com/pasoc for advice. I believe B12 injections should be given 48 hours before starting folic acid when both B12 and folate are deficient but PAS forum will confirm.

Ferritin is deficient which may indicate iron deficiency anaemia. GP should order a full iron panel and full blood count to check.

VitD id deficient. Make sure GP doesn't just prescribe 800iu D3. You need loading doses. Refer your GP to NICE CKS re treating vitD deficiency in adults cks.nice.org.uk/vitamin-d-d... My GP prescribed 40,000iu D3 daily x 14 followed by 2,000iu D3 daily x 8 weeks which raised vitD from <10 to 107.

Iron and vitD should be taken 4 hours away from Levothyroxine and T3.

Gosh, your levels are dire. has your GP or endo not given you anything for them or mentioned them?

It's very important to get these resolved asap as B12 for example, can cause permanent damage. I imagine that's why you've continued to feel bad on your thyroid meds and was tempted to take higher doses and overmedicate. Just check the symptoms of each of these deficiencies and you will see why. These will also affect your bodies ability to use the thyroid meds etc.

I'm assuming this is why you're having the coeliacs test? If nothing comes of this, you must figure out why your levels are so low whether it be a stomach issue or not eating anything :-)

Not what you're looking for?
