hello everyone.

I had my results and my tsh has gone up again does anyone know if vagifem oestrogen peccary's can affect your thyroid?

Vivienneferreira,

Oral HRT can affect absorption of Levothyroxine but I really don't know whether the same is true of pessaries. Try to leave 4 hours between taking Levothyroxine and using the pessary just in case.

It may be that TSH has risen because thyroid function is decreasing and you need a Levothyroxine dose increase.

thanks clutter i have been leaving a big gap between the 2 its quite disappointing as id got my levels quite nice.when the thyroid stops functioning altogether are you on the same dose thereafter?

Vivienneferreira,

Not necessarily. There may be changes in how you absorb and metabolise replacement. For some strange reason my FT3 rose high in range after being on a dose for a year so I've reduced dose slightly.
