Help with globulin results

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had any issues with high globulin results. I had never heard of it, but have just had a private result back showing slight rise in levels. I have read this can be connected to hypothyroidism. Thanks

Is your result for globulin or thyroglobulin? Thyroglobulin is a thyroid protein. It is normal for thyroglobulin to be high unless you have had your thyroid gland removed or ablated.

Globulin is a protein and high globulin can be due to infection or inflammatory disease.
