My results: TSH - 2.3, T3 - 1.5

Hi everyone,

These are my results from Mondays blood test. I have been referred to the endo finally! But it will probably take a couple of months for the app. Currently I am on 50mcg of levo.

Any thoughts?

Do you have the lab reference range for T3?

TSH 2.3 indicates you may be slightly under medicated. Most people will feel better with TSH 1.0 or lower. Read Treatment Options in thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/about_... Email [e-mail] if you would like a copy of the Pulse article to show your GP.

Hi yes the reference range for T3 is 4-8.3. I have 1.5 which is too low. T4 is 13. Ferritin levels are low at 11.

You definitely need a dose increase to raise FT3. It's pointless posting results without out the lab ref ranges. What are the T4 and ferritin ranges?

Ranges differ from labs to labs so that is why we need your ranges to be sure we are giving you the correct advice.

I understand that. I thought everyone on here who replies knows what references are and what optimal range is, e.g. TSH should be close to 1, T3 should be high etc to feel good.

I'm sure everyone knows about ranges who has replied and what is good and not so good but until you put them with your results we don't know what yours are and it wouldn't be good to guess. Yes I saw you put a few of them, thank you, but not all.
