Why has your liothyronine been withdrawn?
It isn't prescribed by the NHS - too expensive (£300 for 28)
If it was previously being prescribed for you and you were benefitting from it, it should not be withdrawn. Please see this info on the main Thyroid UK website thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/newspa...

If members can advise where to source T3 without prescription they will send you a private message.
Most T3 is 25mcg so you might need to buy a pillcutter and take 3/4 of a tablet which is the nearest you'll get to 20mcg.

You need to take Liothyronine daily so buy a pillcutter from any highstreet pharmacy.
Thank you but I'm finding it very confusing as to where is the best place to get it and whether it is legit? Jfp
I would also appreciate a private message on where to source T3 from as it's looking like the NHS are cutting it altogether 😊
