I've being prescribed Nature-Thyroid 1 grain 65mg from GP to be taken once a day.
There are no instructions on how to take? Should I take it as I did my Levothyroxine - on an empty stomach with water away from anything else?
Thanks

1 grain isn't too high a dose - it is thought to be around 100mcg of levothyroxine.
You take it exactly as you would levothyroxine, on an empty stomach with 1 glass of water and wait about an hour before eating.
I don't think the GP will increase every few weeks till you are well but your doctor may do.
I hope it works for you.

I didn't realise it was equivalent to 100 Levo as I'm only on 50 Levo and 75 Levo twice a week.
Private GP did mention that blood tests may now no longer be an accurate guide to rely upon due to suppression of TSH.
Feel great at the moment :-))
Thanks for the link...I will check it out.
You can split the tablet in half or quarter and I'll give you some information below. Your doctor is definitely right that results are not always accurate but it's good you feel fine at present.
for me 1.5 grains was equivalent to 100 synthroid.....and I started out splitting the dosage until my body got used to getting the t3 in the pill...now I take it all at once.....so if you get a rush after taking it....split it
