There is lactose in my T4...

...and I cannot help it. It is a small amount, but still. No other med like Thyroxin by Orion is available within the prescription.

The pharmacist said that it is far better to have T4-levels in balance than to worry about a tiny amount of lactose in a tiny pill. Maybe so.

Do YOU agree???

It is 25 mcg tablet. There was no option. I must check the bigger size tablet, then. Anyway, I have to start with half of the 25mcg so there´s no sense asking for the 100 mcg tablets yet. It will not be easy to divide a 100 mcg tablet into tiny crumbs!!!

You can ask prescription of liquid t4. That is handled as lio, so you need to apply and pay for applying.

As far as I am concerned it should be possible.

NO! If you are allergic you are allergic. The doctor should realise this, personally I refused carbimazole because it contained maize (which I am intolerant to. No one can force you to take anything don't take anything thatmakes you worse.
