Changing from Levothyroxine to Thyro Gold

Hi everyone

Is anyone on this forum taking Thyro Gold? If so, what are your experiences of it.

The following link is from past questions re Thyro Gold. It was invented particularly so that a prescription is not required by Dr John Lowe who was an Adviser before his death to Thyroiduk.org. He was also a Scientist and Researcher and was disgusted that it was difficult for us to source an NDT due to the 'negative' rumours the Endocrinology Dept put around.

I tried Thyro Gold and felt well on it. Downside for me, though some might find it a bonus, was that I lost weight. Unusually for someone with underactive thyroid I am on the "skinny" side and being elderly look scrawny if I lose weight. We're all different and good luck if you have a go!

Oh I would absolutely love to lose weight. That's the only problem I have now with underactive thyroid. I pray this works & thank you for the well wishes

All the best! Another thing that made me lose weight was Vit. B12 - it had such good rep[orts on HU that I decided to have a try. Don't think it can do any harm as body excretes what it doesn't need

keep us posted...i would love to know if it made you lose weight too....i almost went on in and was advised that 300 taking all at once in the morning was the same as 100 t4...
