NDT Private prescription

Hi I have finally been given a private prescription for Desicated Thyroid Extract. Can anyone tell me how much this is going to cost and where is the cheapest to get it

Also how do you buy this from Turkey, do you need to go there or can it be bought online (if so how/where is the site) Thanks in advance for your help

As Grincho says, many people buy non-prescription NDT from Thailand as it is much cheaper.

I think you may have got mixed up about buying NDT from Turkey, it's synthetic T3 (Tiromel) that is from Turkey.

Thanks for the replies. I had thought that perhaps some of the online pharmacies were cheaper for the private script. Yeah I was mixed up. So is there a link to where it can be bought in Thailand. As I may pay for it the first time and then get it from Thailand if I find it works well with me. The dr has prescribed 60mg daily

You should shop around as price can vary.

How much Levothyroxine were you taking?

I am not sure that it is available over the counter in Thailand.

I was taking 75mg I think that's y he gave me 60

60mg is roughly equivalent to 75mcg Levothyroxine.
