Jefner Looking back at your previous posts, you were on a B Complex before. Did that suit you? Which one was it?

As it is your folate that needs addressing, do you need a B Complex or would a folate supplement do? I see you only take B12 a couple of times a week so maybe folate would be better for you.

What about the Glutathione / L Glutamine you said might not be suiting you, did you stop that?

If Thorne Basic B doesn't suit then all B Complex supplements will contain the full range of B vits so there's no saying another brand will suit you any better. You might be better off with folate.

Just read up on b complex side effects and it can worsen anxiety/panic in many people. Just on a forum where people have experienced the same.

I had a good day yesterday and cus i took that tablet i feel ill again

So what about the other things I asked? Were you OK on your previous B Complex and if so what was it? Why not take just folate if that's what you need. What about the Glutathione / L Glutamine, did you stop that or not?

Looking at the strength of the ingredients they are obviously too much for me.

Yes i stopped the other supps a few days ago.

How long will it take for this damn tablet to flush out?

Jefner,

Buy a supermarket brand of B Complex and see whether that suits.

Jefner,

As it is a water based vitamin it should be fairly quick.

Clutter I remember having one a few days ago and my pee was bright yellow right up to bedtime.

Cant effing believe it after feeling ok yesterday

I did used to havd a cheapy sainsburys one as ingredients were a lot lower. Maybe i should have listened to my functional dr after all, he said to not take them. I should know better at my age

Could be that B6 doesn't suit you. But the only B complex I know without B6 you'd have to get on Amazon.com. Not uk.

amazon.com/Desert-Harvest-B...

It seems b complexes are an adrenal booster which i didnt know so wont be having those again. They have gone straight in the bin...more wasted money

I have been taking a bcomplex 100 time release from H & B for the same time I started thyroxine .

i wonder if this is affecting me as been really shaky and nauseous this past week

Carri477 Most of H & B own brand supplements are a waste of money. They tend to use the cheapest, least bioavailable form of ingredients and really aren't worth taking.

Looking at their B100 time release, I wonder over how long a time the time release works. B vits should be taken in the morning, no later than lunchtime, as they are stimulating and if taken later in the day can possibly disrupt sleep.

They contain the cyanocobalamin form of B12 which is the cheapest form and which shouldn't be used rather than methylcobalamin naturalnews.com/032766_cyan... . In fact B12 should be taken in sublingual form which gets directly into the bloodstream by dissolving under the tongue as it gets destroyed by stomach acid.

They also contain folic acid which is synthetic and requires the body to convert it to folate which not everyone is capable of, which is why you'll frequently see members recommend the methylfolate form when looking for supplements.

Plus they contain 100mg B6 yet 10mg B6 is the recommended maximum amount for long term use (although they do actually caution about this).

You might be better off with a better balanced B Complex, a good quality, active form like Thorne Basic B or Jarrows B Right which contain the correct forms of the vitamins.

have been looking round for another B complex and I am wondering whether this one would be better as the doses are lower than the Thornes lambertshealthcare.co.uk/vi...

or this one which is even lower. Don't want to risk taking anything too strong highernature.co.uk/ShowProd...
