Hypothyroid-Immune System Low

Has anyone found that they are picking up every bug going? I even took antihystamines this summer for the first time! Never had this before becoming hypothyroid-and also turned 60 this summer-so is it a common problem or age or both?

I take all the recommended supplements and am feeling frustrated as I still work part time but if I come within a foot of someone with a virus-I'll have it within 24 hours......

Any comments much appreciated......

Unfortunately even if you are taking supplements unless your levels are high enough where you are only taking maintenance doses of supplements for vitamin B12, vitamin D, folate and ferritin your immune system is still going to be weaker. And that is presuming your thyroid hormones are at the right level for you.
