Hi anyone felt like death on Mecury Pharma t4 or t3 ?

susiebow I and my son are still suffering after being changed to Mercury Pharma Levothyroxine 6 years ago. Certainly would not have their T3.

Hi j bee,can I ask how you feel on MP ? I feel really bad .Malaise ,no stamina ,feel faint,hot hands anxious.

susiebow I felt exactly as though I had not been treated. I know how I felt as was not treated for 19 years after sub-total thyroidectomy, but also had (and still have) skin condition. I feel sure it was the Acacia powder in MP Levo that caused problems for my son and me. Do not think Generic Levo measures up to what we used to have at all. I feel the Acacia Powder reacted with soap and shampoo. My profile and posts will tell you more.

Yes I think Acacia powder is a no no.I was on TEVA make for years and although ,not great ,could at least live a life work etc.I have had to take early retirement from NHS after 38 years as a nurse.

susiebow sounds as though they (NHS) shot themselves in the foot, by not giving you good meds. However, you are the one that suffered worse unfortunately.

Yes! I won't take ANYTHING made by that company! Pure poison in my opinion! I made the mistake of taking their Levo, had a horrible reaction, felt like I was going mad! ALL of my hypo symptoms were magnified (plus a few more) and I couldn't control my emotions, started crying/shouting in the middle of conversations! Most unlike me!

It settled down a bit when I switched to Actavis, but that wasn't great either. The only one left was Wockhardt but that one isn't brilliant as it makes me itch!

Hi annie-7 ,yes that is how I feel,I guess I will now try NDT of some sort.Thanks for info.Hope you get to feel good.

Thanks susie, I'm now taking NDT and (not MP) T3, so much better!
