New blood results .. Feel a little over medicated

Hi please could you lovely people comment on my recent results ? Feel a little over medicated ..hard to remember what feeling normal is anymore

FT4 ....17.7 .. (9-22)

FT3 4.17 ..(2.63-5-70)

TSH 0.13 (0.35-4-94)

Your FT3 isn't over 3/4 of the range. Do you have adequate B12 levels?

Hi bluebug ..my B12 is way over range at 2000 which they are still investigating ..... Many thanks for your reply xxxxxxxx

FT4 and FT3 are within range and not even close to top of range so you aren't biochemically over medicated.

Low TSH is not a problem. It's the FT4 and FT3 which determine whether or not you are over medicated. As I said, you aren't biochemically over medicated but If you *feel* over medicated you could reduce your dose by 12.5mcg - 25mcg for a couple of weeks to see whether symptoms improve.

You could be over-medicated a touch. Try skipping a couple of days levothyroxine and then resuming on a slightly lower dose. Then continue on the dose which you feel better on.

Tsh is fine

Ft4 is good at 17

Ft3 should be top1/4 of range so 4.27 or above according to your range.

In what way are you feeling over medicated?
