Hi, had results of second blood tests today, been on 50 mcg Thyroxine for 40 days, but still feeling bad. Nurse said they came back normal and wouldn't be upping dosage. These were results
"serum TSH level 1.56 mU/L (0.30 - 4.40)
Would appreciate your views on this.

Feeling up and down really, decided to give it a bit longer and if symptoms carry on will book in to see Dr. Was disappointed with nurse, no info regarding test results just thought that me getting out in fresh air was the answer, (which I do every day walking dogs). Thanks again for your good advice and knowledge. 🙂
Stupid woman. Knows nothing about thyroid! How can fresh air replace hormones? If that was all it took, we'd all be rushing around like spring chickens!
Ask your doctor to order FT4 and FT3 - there's just a chance he might order the FT4, but no harm in asking. That would give a clearer picture.
Have you had your vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin tested? They could be low, and adding to your symptoms.
My thoughts exactly, if only it was that simple, she appeared to know very little about this condition. Apparently they did do B12 in the original testing which was 'normal' including some others which were in the normal range. To be honest if I hadn't come across this forum I would be totally in the dark. Will give Dr this info when he is back. Thanks again 🙂
I'll 2nd GreyGoose in all said, but add- insist on copy of your blood test results. Have the test as early as possible in day, so you don't eat or drink (ex pet small sips of water) 4 hrs min beforehand.
Also do not take your Levo on day of blood test, take it afterwards with a glass (not sip) of water and wait an hour before eating. Something you should be doing daily anyway. Good luck.
