Welcome to the forum, Jennie1559.

1 grain (60-65mg) NDT is roughly equivalent to 75mcg Levothyroxine so 3.25 grains would be roughly 250mcg. It would be advisable to titrate dose until you know how you tolerate the T3 in NDT by reducing Levothyroxine by 75mcg for 1 grain NDT added at two week intervals.

Wow. 250 is really high! I don't know of anyone taking that dose

The highest dose I am aware of was around 3200 micrograms a day - and the person showed no signs of over-dosing whatsoever (according to the medics reporting this).

250 micrograms may be a little higher than most, but nothing very unusual. If anything affects absorption (e.g. gastroparesis or other medicines) then a higher dose will likely be needed.

Shecky, people need what they need, and commenting on the size of people's doses like that is not very helpful. Used to make me really mad when I was on a high dose of T3 and people said oh, that's a high dose! As if I didn't know. It makes people feel like freaks. Please don't do it. :)

DON'T do a direct swap it rarely works as the T3 tends to be too much for your body to take. Armour is the most expensive of the NDT family. Will pm you with access to a list of internet pharmacies.
