TPO Readings

HI All,

Thank you for your support. I am trying to understand the whole medication and blood test results balancing act.

I have just had my bloods done again after a month.

Dr put me on Levo 88mcg and have had the following results:

TPO: Prior 1 month: 311. Yesterday: 313

TG: Prior 1 month: 54. Yesterday: 57

TSH: Prior 1 month: 7.6 (Range 0,35 - 4.94) Yesterday: 0,8.

Big improvement on the TSH.

I have been AIP for over a month.

Will the TPO come down with AIP diet and medication or is there something else I should be doing?

Doctor has told me to keep on the same medication.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Janakigr,

It's likely to take many months before thyroid peroxidase antibodies drop after adopting 100% gluten-free diet. Lower TSH is also helpful in reducing antibodies eventually.
