Hi,
I have been hypo for about 12 years, recently came across this site which has encouraged me to take more responsibility for myself.
Do my levels look ok?
TSH 2.4 range 0.3 -5.0
Serum Ferritin 19 ug/L range 10.0 - 420.0
Many thanks for any help.

How do you feel Eileen. Your TSH is a bit high for a treated hypo patient. Do you have FT4 and FT3 results as well?
Your ferritin is low and that seems to be a very wide range. It's normally said that half way through range is optimal, and a minimum of 70 for thyroid hormone to work properly. It looks like you could do with an iron supplement which should be taken with 1000mcg Vit C to aid absorption and help prevent constipation.
I'm guessing you will have a whole lot of deficiencies just looking at your Ferritin result. It's very low.
TSH could be lower, people tend to feel better with it under 1.
I would advise you have your thyroid antibodies checked, hugely important as you could have Hashimotos (a thyroid disease but autoimmune and very common)
Vitamin D, B12 and Folate must also be checked. I'm guessing you will be low in at least one.
So important. Don't let le GP fob you off!
