Please can someone PM me details so I can buy some T3 for my son to trial. He has finally admitted that he is very tired on T4 only. Knowing that my daughter and I do exceptionally well on T3 only, it's time he took control.
Thanking you in advance.

JanePound Has he had his vitamins and minerals tested? Deficiencies in them can contribute to thyroid hormone not working properly, tiredness and other symptoms.
Get him to ask for
B12
Vit D
Ferritin
Folate
and of the GP won't do them then they can be done privately through Blue Horizon with a home fingerprick test.
It would be better to look at those first and if all are optimal then look at other forms of thyroid hormone, being guided by test results as to how much T3 might be needed, or if a combo of T3 and Levo is better.
I have taken thyroxine for years Jane, but like your son I have always felt unaturally tired. I would be keen to know where to safely get the T3 from as desperate enough to try anything now Good luck to your son.
