thanks for the reply, my main issues at the minute are weight gain, overly tired all the time and extremely dry irritated skin. do you think adding in T3 would be beneficial? maybe a very small amount?
Have you had your vit d, b12, ferritin, folate and iron tested? And you're taking your levo on an empty stomach (2hrs after food or an hour before food), 4hrs away from supplements like iron or calcium?
Yes, you could reduce levo and try 5 t3 for two weeks and see how that feels. If you have no change maybe up it to 10. The thing is you have a fine margin in which to operate because you're only on a small dose of levo and your tsh is already quite low.
I would reduce to 50 levo and try 5 t3. If no joy in two weeks try reducing levo to 25 and try 10 t3 for three weeks, then see where you are. If you have no hyper symptoms you could stay there for six weeks (when your levels should be stable after reducing t4) and have a test.
Just my thoughts as a layperson. Others might have different ideas of what to change.
