Just had I 131.....

Was irradiated yesterday. Last bloods were normal, despite previous three being very hyper and uptake scan indicating seriously toxic nodule. Another blood test taken before radio iodine, but to be honest, I can't put up with the heat intolerance, tremors, racing heart, labile moid and lack of sleep any more. Took the radiation and I hope the consequences are better than the problems....

Very best of luck for you. Sometimes I131 is the best solution. My sister has continued to do really well after her treatment and she's 10 years on. (I'm still ok without at the moment).

Four weeks later, I'm 6Lbs up eating salad and controlled carbs and protein.... Fat, lost weight, now fat again..... 😡😡😡
