Another interesting aspect, I googled the author of the second article and he's written many books on this subject dating back to 1979. He must have felt like he was banging his head against a brick wall. At least people are now starting to pay attention to the diet/autoimmune link.

My experience has found this to be true. After I went gluten free I became very sensitive to most of these food groups with resultant joint pain, gut pain, diarrhoea and sometimes vomiting. I can eat dairy but only if I have not eaten anything which damages my gut such as wheat or potatoes. However, I am now very well and feel sorry that some people go on with a lot of pain which they never identify the cause of. Wishing you all good health.

A fascinating read. My middle grandchild is currently undergoing investigations for food allergies. They have him avoiding dairy and nuts at the moment.
