It may have been posted before but I have never seen it and I was amazed at how many other drugs interact with Levo. Had this site in mind for you Rod as it is full of technical stuff!!!

Looks like a reworking of the old NHS evidence site. Will have a proper look later!
Bizarrely, your link won't work.
Click on this:

And then on Levothyroxine sodium in the blue box. You end up on the BNF site!
I promise there are more interactions of various sorts than are shown there!

Sorry Rod messed that one up and had to delete.
Just found the site very interesting and immediately thought of you and all the technical stuff you use.
I was looking for the answer to a question regarding price of "normal" levo v's Eltroxin as there seems to be a spate of GP's changing patients from Eltroxin due to price. Even though I found the price of levo, which stated "including Eltroxin" I couldn't find a positive answer, any ideas Rod.
I honestly didn't know so many drugs interacted with levo which makes it doubly important to keep everything away from your T4 except water in my book.

I have never properly understood GP and pharmacy charges, etc. Unfortunately.
Somewhere in the chain, Eltroxin costs someone more!
As there is no difference between Eltroxin and the other Mercury Pharma Levothyroxine, it does not seem unreasonable for the change to be made if it does indeed save NHS funds.
Agreed about keeping things away from levothyroxine - so many things do intereact, at least to some extent, I think the only simple way of putting it is, as you say, to suggest only water is usually acceptable.
