Listened to a Zoe podcast about Lectins yesterday, I’d never heard of them.
He talks about a study where they fed gluten intolerant people gluten and they had no reaction. They fed another group of gluten intolerant people Fructans and they all reacted.
Fructans are in wheat barley rye etc. dairy and so much more. He said closely linked to FODMAP
Thought that was interesting, I definitely do better with low FODMAP meals perhaps this is why 🤷🏽♀️
