Help with NDT and T3

Hello ~ I was wondering if someone could share their experiences with introducing Cynomel while already taking NDT? I am currently taking 2 grains of Thiroyd, split into 2 doses. One in the morning upon waking and one during mid afternoon. I am adding some T3 due to high reverse T3 and wanted to take it slow. What is the smartest way to dose the Cynomel? What I have read so far is to lower my NDT to 1 grain in the morning and then add T3. Do I take the T3 with the morning NDT dose or should I take the T3 at a different time? What has worked for everyone else. Thanks so much!

SwimmerGirl,

1 grain NDT is equivalent to 25mcg T3.  I would take 12.5mcg with 1 grain NDT and the second 12.5mcg at bedtime.

Hey, thanks so much.  I guess we were on the same page as I took 1 grain NDT with 12.5 (1/2 tab) of T3 this morning.  LOL   I certainly felt a warm feeling and some energy.  It was so awesome!  Another question, if you don't mind, why would it be best to take the next 12.5 of T3 before bedtime?  Is that pretty common, or do folks need to find their own groove.  I'm learning so much
