Milk thistle

Has anyone used milk thistle.  I have found that it seems to speed up my heart rate. Has anyone else experienced this

It looks like it might but wondered if having an underactive thyroid made it more likely. I take thyroxine and 1/4 armour  thyroid

I have just read that it 'might' so that's not a positive.

I've just started taking it, only half a teaspoonful with my other meusli ingredients (oat groats and jumbo oats, sunflower, pumpkin, flax and chia seed) soaked for 48 hours.  I grind the seed for my dog, hoping to help his liver.

Haven't noticed anything untoward, other than a full teaspoonful being a bit dominating.  May dip into the dog's jar of ground seed.
