I had same  experience with  thyroid-s while rising  dose for few days.Later hypo even after 5 grains. It didn't work for me.

Have blood test & check levels to know whether you are over/under medicated.

Lizcosgrove,

T3 can raise heart and pulse rates after ingestion.  Heart and pulse rates will usually subside to normal within a couple of hours.

How quickly have to raised to 2 grains?   I take 1.5 grains first thing and then 0 .5 around 2 pm ish.   I take Thiroyd and the only time I feel my heart having a bit of a flutter is when I have tried to raise it to 2.5, although I don't quite honestly think I need to raise it as my TSH on 2 grains is 0.85.   There is a chart on this site for the daily rhythms of thyroid hormone and TSH if you haven't already seen it.

Maybe due to side effect of fillers or it is too much dose at first.

I read articles that NDT dosage should be increased gradually. For example, 0.5 grain for 2 weeks and after 2 weeks 1 grain...

When NDT dosage is increased patients can have heart pounding but it will last for 5 days according to what I read.
