Hi,
My recent labs for B12 were 314. I know this is low but does this require treatment? My Endo has said this is a normal range but it is on the very lowest of the scale.
Any thoughts?

Anything below 500 can present with neurological symptoms - see link below ....

Look around the website for everything you need to know about B12. Sadly Docs and Endos know very little about B12 and the problems it creates when low. Only 20% of your B12 test result is available to be utilised in the cells - where it is needed.
Do you have any gut issues ?
Thanks Marz, I will read this now.
I do have gut issues and some acid reflux too now and again. I definitely need a B12 supplement. Do you know if you can take this alongside an Iron Supplement or B Vitamin Complex or is it best to take just one of these kinds of supplements?
Your gut issues could affect the absorption of B12 in the Terminal Ileum . You probably have low stomach acid which prevents the natural breaking down of proteins in the stomach - before the onward journey into the gut. So these proteins hang around too long - then ferment - which causes upward movement of the bubbling fermentation. You need good levels of acid for good B12 levels. You can take B12 supplement and a B Complex. Excess B12 is excreted. Are you low in Ferritin ? - is that why you are taking Iron ?
Yes my Ferritin is currently 23 it was 15 before taking the Iron but even at 15 my Doctor told me to take a mere multi vitamin which is clearly not near enough!!!
You will need to take an iron supplement on its own - and with some VitC to aid absorption. Am not knowledgeable about Iron and I have not needed it .... There is not enough of anything in a multi-vitamin. They are fine if you are a healthy person and around 12 - otherwise ......
If you are having acid reflux it could be due to being low acid rather than high as most doctors would believe. This is a link which might be helpful:
