Hypothyroid now developed diarrhoea

Been hypo for three years.  Over last three months have loose stools daily also joint aches.  Negative for coeliac.  More tests coming.  is there a link with being hypo?  Thank you.

Unfortunately, negative for Coeliac doesn't mean you aren't gluten sensitive - or indeed, sensitive to something else you're eating. 

Have you tried any exclusion diets? There are several approaches to try - low FODMAPs, SCD etc (if you Google those letters, there's lots of info ). 

But yes, there's a link to hypothyroidism. Autoimmune diseases hunt in packs. It's not uncommon at all for those with hypothyroidism to be diagnosed with Crohn's, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS.

Might you be over medicated ? that can cause issues.

Overmedication can cause diarrhoea.  I had awful diarrhoea when I was over-replaced on Levothyroxine.  Coeliac was ruled out. It resolved when dose was substantially reduced some months later.

Have you been tested for TPO antibodies? I developed diarrhoea and then other issues such as overheating. Thought I was over medicated but my TPO was well over the range
